Explore California's wild side in this photo-naturalist's notebook. From my home in beautiful San Francisco I head outside to see what Nature is up to, make a few photographs, and share what I find.
I'm interested in everything from bugs to bobcats, poppies to puffballs, marshes to mountaintops, and even though I'm at least superficially familiar with much of what I find, my approach is to keep a "beginner's mind" and enjoy endless fascination as my reward.
"May we all find the Bay Mountain that gives us a crystal moment of being and breath of the sky, and only asks us to hold the whole world dear."
